It's not just about the stress...

Modern Stress Management is not just about managing stress. Even if you feel like you are not 'stressed out', you can still benefit from the techniques which will help you to be the best you that you can be in work or in business, at home and in life!

I've been there - I loved what I did but then the hours, and being moved into a managerial role I wasn't prepared for, took their toll. I didn't think I was stressed (to be perfectly honest I was one of those people who didn't really believe in it) so I didn't realise there was something wrong until it seriously damaged my health.

No matter what you do for a living or in life, I strongly believe that it doesn't have to be his way. If your situation is really dire, it might seem that there are no choices, no way out from whatever is causing your stress but your inability to 'see' a way through is, in itself, another symptom of stress. The mind works better, is more open to new ideas, and choices become easier when not under stress.

I help people to live and work at their best. Not just out of the stress danger zone but right up there in a flow state where amazing things can happen - what athletes refer to simply as 'the zone'.

Stress is very much linked to energy levels and the key to modern stress management is your awareness of energy levels and ways you can raise them so that you can always work, plan and make important decisions - in business or in life (I actually like these to be one and the same but that's another story) - when you are at your peak.

I work with individuals or small businesses who are interested in stress management or, if you don't see stress as a problem, want to find ways to be more effective, productive, creative and focussed - in short being the BEST YOU.

From Stress To Success

Amongst the many problems with the old stress management approaches was that they stopped too soon - the goal was "to find peace," or "just not to be so stressed all the time any longer."

It turns out that this isn't a goal, and in fact makes any kind of stress management difficult, if not entirely impossible.

"Stress" is a code word for negative emotions - being nervous, being anxious, being afraid, getting angry, losing control over our emotions. People have tried to be more "emotionless" – but that's not the answer.

In order to truly overcome stress, we need to engage the power of positive emotions.

By setting the goal towards positive emotions, we move naturally into the realms of the high energy states - empowering emotions, in other words. We are naturally designed to move towards happiness, and way from fear and terror. When we work with our natural systems, we gain emotional control, and the ability to get out of stress fast.

The world we live in is stressful. Yet we can learn to work our emotions and or energy system in the right way. When we do, we start to "feel better" - immediately. We also naturally start to "think better" and our bodies become faster, stronger and healthier.
